Spread Your Sunshine Founder Melanie S. Griffin, Esq. was recently featured as one of KNOW Women's Female Leaders to KNOW. She was happy to discuss Spread Your Sunshine's mission to inspire and empower others, especially women and girls, and how it connects to the KNOW LIFT + RISE mission:

"Spread Your Sunshine was founded to provide broad-based mentorship to empower others, especially women and girls, to build the confidence necessary to pursue their most audacious dreams and shine through the glass ceiling. This mission, and the KNOW Lift + Rise Mission, are epitomized by a message at the core of Spread Your Sunshine – “failure” totally rocks. As difficult as the challenging experience may be in the moment, it is the only way we grow and remain excited about and challenged by our pursuits. It also is often when we best connect with others – as much as everyone loves a champion, communities empathize with, cheer on, and invest in the underdog. So, the next time something does not go as planned, take a deep breath, don’t dwell, learn from the experience, and move on to crushing your next goal. You’re on the right path, even if the direction in which you’re now headed has a different destination than the one originally envisioned."
