The Fight Against Racial Inequality Persists

To the communities across the country voicing their frustration and outrage with systems of oppression and widespread disenfranchisement of Black and Brown Communities, Spread Your Sunshine hears you, we support you, and we stand in solidarity along side you.

The Spread Your Sunshine community is encouraged to support the movement to end systemic racism, such as by educating yourself, acknowledging your privilege, confirming that anti-black exists, saying his/her/their name, offline participation, supporting black businesses and organizations, knowing when to step back, creating space for black representation, knowing the difference between being in solidarity and an ally and serving in both capacities, and celebrating black excellence.
